Much work to do for Honda

Marc Marquez has conceded that Honda have much work to do at this week's three-day test in Jerez as they continue to struggle with MotoGP's new control electronics for 2016. The recent post-season test at Valencia left a number of riders battling to come to terms with the new system, and the Repsol Honda squad are facing similar challenges. With Dani Pedrosa not having ridden at Jerez since 2014 after missing last year's race through injury, it was Marquez who did the lion's share of the work on Wednesday, with the Spaniard notching up a fastest lap that was believed to be a 1:39.92.
