Stoner and HRC part company

HONDA Racing Corporation have announced today that they are parting company with Casey Stoner whom has been with the Japanese manufacturer for five years.  Stoner joined the factory Honda MotoGP Squad in 2011 under the Repsol Honda Team title and after five years together, the dream team have now parted company. The Australian won ten races on the RC212V bike as well as another six podium finishes throughout the season as clinched the World Championship at his home Grand Prix at Phillip Island that year.  Throughout his career with Honda, Stoner has achieved a total of 15 victories, 2 second positions, 9 third positions which total to 26 podiums positions.
