Xavi Fores gets full-time WSBK ride for 2016

Xavi Fores will race full-time in World Superbikes next year after being announced as the sole rider for satellite Ducati team Barni Racing. The Spaniard deputised for the injured Davide Giugliano at the works Ducati outfit at three rounds in 2015, taking a best finish of fifth place on home turf at Aragon. Now Fores will return to the championship on a permanent basis next year, replacing Leandro Mercado, who finished eighth in this year's standings for the Barni squad. "I am really happy with this opportunity, to be in WorldSBK next season, especially because I have been working so hard to be with Ducati," said Fores.
