Abraham absent for next three rounds

Karel Abraham will miss not only this weekend's Japanese MotoGP, but also the following Australian and Malaysian races. The Czech rider is still struggling with the foot injury from Catalunya in June and, according to specialists, 'another race right now could lead to permanent consequences'. Kousuke Akiyoshi is confirmed as riding Abraham's open class Honda at Motegi, with Abraham hoping to be fit for the final round in Valencia.
