Aspar confirms Yonny Hernandez for 2016

Colombian rider Yonny Hernandez will switch to Aspar for next year's MotoGP campaign, Hernandez, 27, has spent the last two years at Pramac Ducati, but will be replaced at the team in 2016 by Scott Redding. The Colombian, under contract with Ducati, was subsequently tipped to join Avintia, but the spare seat at that team went to Loris Baz, with Hernandez settling on a move to Aspar instead. "I was very keen on joining Aspar. We have been trying to work together for a few years but we never managed to reach an agreement, but finally we can be together," said Hernandez. "My goal is to keep working and give the maximum to try to get the best results during the next season....
