Iannone battles pain for front row
Ducati's Andrea Iannone defied a shoulder injury to put the GP15 on the front row after an excellent ride to secure third place in qualifying for the Aragon MotoGP. Iannone suffered a dislocated left shoulder during a training accident prior to the 14th round of the world championship but still managed to break into the top three. The Italian's best lap in 1m 47.178s left him half-a-second down on pole man Marc Marquez as Iannone comfortably finished as the top Ducati rider, with Danilo Petrucci next best on the Pramac GP14.2 in ninth.
