Quartararo fastest in MotoGP warm-up, Espargaro leads Honda 2-3
Second on the grid for today’s German MotoGP, Fabio Quartararo made the perfect start to race day by topping morning warm-up at Sachsenring. The Monster Energy Yamaha rider headed out on a used hard front (10 laps) and a medium rear (22 laps) before staging a late charge. Quartararo’s time of 1:21.341s dislodged Pol Espargaro who spent much of the session fastest from fellow Honda rider Takaaki Nakagami. The two Honda riders remained in that order and finished 2-3. Starting one place behind Quartararo in today’s German Grand Prix is Aleix Espargaro who endured a rough warm-up session.
