Hikari Okubo completes first of three days testing in Jerez
MotoE rookie Hikari Okubo completes the first of three days testing at Jerez in what is the last Official pre-season test ahead of the 2021 MotoE World Cup campaign. The Japanese rider was seventh at the conclusion of the opening day, while former Moto2 rider Dominique Aegerter was fastest. The MotoE rookie returns to the Grand Prix paddock for the first time since 2014 where he made a wildcard appearance in Moto3 at his home round of Motegi. Since then Okubo has been competing in WorldSSP with a best finish of fourth in 2019.
