Valentino Rossi tests fitness as he evaluates Aragon return

Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi completed a handful of laps on a YZF-R1M machine at Misano as he evaluated the possibility of making a return to MotoGP action at Aragón this weekend. Rossi sustained fractures to his right leg during a training accident at the end of August, ruling him out of competing at his home event at Misano. Rossi began light physiotherapy in the wake of the accident, having expressed his desire to make a swift return, but Yamaha confirmed last week that World Superbike rider Michael van der Mark would substitute at Aragón.
