Pedrosa heads damp FP1 at Jerez
– Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa led the way during a damp opening practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.Pedrosa clocked a time of 1:51.648 to finish just 0.002s clear of LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow over the course of the 45-minute session.Marc VDS' Jack Miller placed third, ahead of Andrea Dovizioso and reigning champion Marc Márquez, the Ducati rider breaking Honda's hegemony at the front.Jonas Folger was the highest-placed rookie in sixth, with Aprilia's Aleix Espargaró seventh and Pramac's Danilo Petrucci eighth.Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati) and Maverick Viñales (Yamaha) rounded out the top 10, all within a second of Pedrosa's time, while championship leader Valentino Rossi...
