Lorenzo “forgot about crash” to ride through pain barrier

MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo has explained his extraordinary effort to qualify on the front row for the Japanese GP at Motegi. Just three hours after an enormous high-side that sent him to hospital for multiple scans, Lorenzo returned to set the third-quickest time in qualifying. “I feel a lot better than three hours ago, no?” quipped Lorenzo. “The painkillers and adrenaline of riding this bike, I improve a lot my feeling – especially with my left leg. “I had a big impact, I was scared I injured my left foot, but finally it was just a muscle problem – although I had a lot of pain.
