Valentino Rossi is back for the fourth round of MotoGP’s Virtual Grand Prix this weekend as he joins an 11-strong grid at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncellii in Italy.

The Yamaha rider made his debut in the official MotoGP Esports challenge at the Red Bull Ring last month and will be back for another attempt at victory for his ‘home’ event.

All but the two KTM teams will be represented on the virtual San Marino MotoGP grid with Yamaha and Repsol Honda fielding full strength squads of Rossi and Maverick Vinales, plus Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez.

Meanwhile, Michele Pirro and Pecco Bagnaia represent the factory Ducati and Pramac Ducati teams respectively, Joan Mir flies the flag for Suzuki and Fabio Quartararo will look to secure that elusive first win for Petronas SRT Yamaha.

Takaaki Nakagami will also compete for LCR Honda, together with Tito Rabat at Avintia Ducati while Lorenzo Savadori gets an outing for Aprilia this time.

With the Moto2 and Moto3 fields joining the ranks last time out at Jerez, this time it will be the turn of MotoE to share the bill with MotoGP at Misano.

The first time the electric series has featured in a MotoGP game, a nine-strong line-up will battle for victory including reigning champion Matteo Ferrari, plus Dominique Aegerter, Eric Granado, Mike di Meglio, Xavier Simeon, Mattias Casadei, Lukas Tulovic, Jordi Torres and Alejandro Medina.

Once more, highlights from qualifying will be shown before the races get underway with coverage starting at 3.00pm (GMT+2) on Sunday 17th May on MotoGP’s website and social media platforms, plus broadcast partners including Canal+, DAZN, BT Sport, NBC and ESPN Latin America.
