Forward Racing have confirmed that they will retain the services of Valentino Rossi protégés Lorenzo Baldassarri and Luca Marini for the 2017 season, extending the pair’s deal for another year after a strong start to the 2016 season. The VR46 Academy riders, including Rossi’s half brother Marini, have put in strong results so far this season, with Baldassarri taking a podium at his home race in Mugello and Marini a personal best sixth last time out in Germany.
