Iannone gets grid penalty for Austin
– Ducati rider Andrea Iannone has been handed a three-place grid penalty for next weekend's MotoGP round at Austin following a last corner collision with team-mate Andrea Dovizioso in Argentina.Both riders had made progress to overhaul Valentino Rossi during the closing stages, with Dovizioso and Iannone running in second and third on the final lap.Iannone hounded Dovizioso across the last few corners and tried to pass his team-mate at the final opportunity, but lost control of his bike and eliminated both Ducatis.Iannone was out on the spot while Dovizioso walked his bike to the finish line to collect 13th position."Iannone has been given a three-place grid penalty for Austin,...
