Dovizioso Blames Different Conditions for Lack of Pace
Andrea Dovizioso claims the conditions in Qatar on Thursday had changed significantly from the pre-season test, resulting in his relative lack of pace. Having topped the testing times, Dovizioso could only manage seventh in FP1 but hopes to rediscover the same feeling with the Ducati GP15 that he had in testing tomorrow. “Conditions today were a bit different to those during the tests and we were not particularly quick. In this session we tried both bikes to compare two different set-ups but we were unable to find the same feeling that we had last week.
