CAS rejects Lorenzo intervention in Rossi appeal
– The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has rejected an attempted intervention by Jorge Lorenzo in the case regarding Yamaha team-mate and title rival Valentino Rossi.Rossi must start from the back of the grid at this weekend's finale in Valencia as a result of the three point penalty he was handed for clashing with Marc Márquez in Malaysia.Rossi has appealed to the CAS in a bid to overturn the penalty and on Tuesday the organisation confirmed that Lorenzo's attempt to intervene in the case has been rejected."Earlier today, the Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected a Request for Intervention filed by the Spanish MotoGP rider, Jorge Lorenzo."On 2 November 2015, lawyers...
