De Angelis says injuries "won't prevent him from continuing to race"
Injured MotoGP rider Alex de Angelis says he is raring to make a recovery and return to bike racing after his heavy crash during the Japanese Grand Prix. De Angelis, 31, suffered a head injury, lung contusion and numerous fractures after an incident in Free Practice 4 at Motegi. He remained in a Japanese hospital since his accident, but is set to be transferred to his native San Marino this Sunday. "Finally, if all goes in the right way, I’ll return back home," de Angelis said. "Of course, I will not really in my house, but in the State Hospital of San Marino, but there I’ll meet again all my friends and I can finally talk again in Italian with the health care personnel....
