Hayden hoping to hit it hard, carry some momentum
Nicky Hayden heads for what could be his final Japanese MotoGP three points behind Jack Miller in the fight to be the top Open Honda. The former world champion, believed to be on the verge of confirming a 2016 move to WSBK with either Honda or Aprilia, claimed the final point at Aragon despite a recently fractured thumb and now has four rounds left in which to reel-in rookie Miller. “Well Japan is the first of three flyaway races in a row, which is a very demanding period for everyone involved, but also it's kind of nice to travel to that part of world and experience some different tracks and different atmospheres,” Hayden said. “I'm looking forward to Japan, it's a track where...
