Aspar signs Yonny Hernandez
Aspar has confirmed the signing of Yonny Hernandez for MotoGP 2016. However no mention was made of the Colombian's team-mate - assuming there will be one - or which machinery will be used. Nicky Hayden and Eugene Laverty currently race Open class Hondas for Aspar, but the team is rumoured to be switching to Ducati. The signing of Hernandez, from Pramac Ducati, will do little to dampen such speculation. Former world champion Hayden is out of contract and '50-50' in terms of a switch to WSBK next season, while rookie Laverty is in the first year of a two-year deal.
