Crutchlow reflects on 'terrible day'
Cal Crutchlow lamented a 'terrible day' based on his position of 13th in free practice at Aragon but hopes to have reason for more optimism on Saturday. The LCR Honda rider's time of 1m 49.064s was a second and a half off the pace set by Movistar Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo and Crutchlow admits a big improvement is required in final practice and qualifying. The British rider, who had been eighth in FP1 before slipping back in the afternoon, said: “It was a terrible day position-wise, but we got some things done. “We went into the race weekend with a plan and, to an extent, I think it worked, but we definitely need to look at the data tonight to see where we can improve.
