Rossi Amongst Riders Penalised Post-Qualifying
Five riders have been awarded penalties after qualifying for the 2015 San Marino Grand Prix. Those in question are Valentino Rossi and Yonny Hernandez in MotoGP, and Hiroki Ono, Jorge Martin and Jakub Kornfeil in Moto3. Rossi has been given one penalty point to his record, according to Article 3.2.1 of the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix Disciplinary and Arbitration Code. This comes after his Movistar Yamaha was riding slowly on the racing line, thus hindering team-mate Jorge Lorenzo‘s pace towards the end of Q2 this afternoon.
