Qatar MotoGP test: Redding cuts gap to leaders
Britain’s Scott Redding moved to within a second of the fastest MotoGP riders on day one of testing last night in Qatar, putting his Estrella Galicia Marc VDS RC213V in tenth place and only 0.847s slower than Andrea Iannone. But Redding says he won’t make any massive changes to setup in the second session today, other than a couple of tweaks, as he want to spend more time getting laps and building his confidence. “I’m happy with today, mainly because we didn’t really change much on the bike at all, other then throwing tyres and fuel into it. I felt comfortable on the bike from the start today and that helped to build my confidence, which is the most important thing,” said...
