Marquez: Five points won t change my life

Marc Marquez attempted to put the Assen controversy behind him as MotoGP re-assembled in Germany on Thursday. 2015 title leader Rossi and reigning champion Marquez battled for the lead throughout the Dutch race, culminating in contact when Honda star Marquez tried to pass Rossi with an inside move at the final chicane. Rossi ran off-track following the contact, straight-lined the chicane and won the race. Marquez was unhappy that Rossi had cut the track while Honda team manager Livio Suppo stated the speed with which Rossi reacted to the 'slight contact' suggested his off-track diversion had been planned in advance.
