Assen debut 'a big misunderstanding' says Van der Mark

Pata Honda World Superbike rider Michael van der Mark has shed some light on the circumstances surrounding his proposed MotoGP debut in the Dutch TT at Assen, which failed to materialise. The reigning World Supersport champion was reported to be replacing the injured Karel Abraham on an RC213V-RS in the Cardion AB Motoracing team, who hurt his foot at Catalunya.
