Crutchlow hoping for Assen boost

Cal Crutchlow is looking ahead to the next round of the MotoGP World Championship at Assen with 'high hopes' as he aims to put a run of poor results behind him. The CWM Honda rider was taken out on the opening lap at Catalunya by Aleix Espargaro and Crutchlow was denied the chance to gain some track time at the post-race test the following day after a bout of food poisoning and heavy rain restricted his time on the RC213V to a handful of laps. Crutchlow, though, remains confident he has the best pace of the satellite riders and is now aiming to make amends at the Dutch TT on June 27. “We had some things to test, not new parts, but some settings we wanted to try.
