Cal Crutchlow dislocates ankle in Mugello fall

Cal Crutchlow left Mugello on Sunday evening with a dislocated right ankle after crashing out of the Italian MotoGP race in a terrifying spill at Arrabbiata 1. The CWM Honda rider was holding a strong fifth position just hours after a fall in morning warm-up on the entry to turn four banged his head and hurt his right hand. Along with Marc Marquez, who lost the front end in similar circumstances, Crutchlow opted for the hard compound front tyre for the 23-lap race and he believes it was to blame for the spill. “I'm very disappointed for the whole team.
