MotoGP Mugello: Dovizioso continues to set the pace
Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso continues to set the MotoGP Mugello pace, putting in the fastest time of this afternoon second free practice session with reigning champion Marc Marquez 0.164s behind him. As with this morning’s session, the Italian used the hardest tyre in his allocation to go round in 1’47.479 while Marquez could only muster a 1’47.643 with Movistar Yamaha’s Jorge Lorenzo in third place and two-tenths behind his fellow Spaniard. Andrea Iannone, on the second factory Ducati, jumped into fourth with his last flying lap to depose Britain’s Bradley Smith but the Italian was the only man in the top ten not to improve on his time from this morning.
