Moto2: Mugello holds special memories for Zarco
Moto2 World Championship pacesetter Johann Zarco is confident of securing his fifth consecutive podium at Mugello on Sunday. The Ajo Motorsport rider has opened a gap of 21 points at the top of the table after four rostrum finishes in succession, taking third place at Le Mans in France last time out to underline his consistency this year on the Kalex. Zarco, currently in the midst of his best ever start to a season, said: “It was at the Mugello circuit where I got my first big result, a sixth in my fifth race as a World Championship rider [in 125cc race in 2009].
