Good previous results at Assen, ‘but our situation is different now’ - Marquez
Marc Marquez’ long and hard journey back to the top of a MotoGP podium was complete in fine style last weekend with an 11th straight win in Sachsenring. The recent improvements in both performance and physical recovery culminated in his and the team's first win since Valencia 2019. Next up is Assen, a circuit where Marquez has been on the podium every year since making his MotoGP debut. But even so, Marquez doesn’t expect to be quite as strong there as he was in Germany, and will instead ‘see what’s possible.
