Dovizioso tops first Le Mans practice
– Andrea Dovizioso topped the timesheets during Friday morning's opening free practice session for the French Grand Prix at Le Mans.The Ducati rider led most of the session, only to be edged out late on by Marc Márquez, who had switched to his spare bike after a stoppage.But moments later Dovizioso restored his place at the front with a 1:34.034, putting himself 0.246s clear of Repsol Honda rival Márquez.Spanish Grand Prix winner Jorge Lorenzo followed in third, two hundredths down on Márquez, and only 0.009s up on LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow.Tech 3 Yamaha's Pol Espargaró placed fifth, ahead of Marc VDS rider Scott Redding and the remaining works Yamaha of Valentino Rossi.Pramac's...
