KTM struggling with ‘softer compound’, front will ‘disappear on you’ - Binder
Following a 2020 MotoGP season that saw KTM take their first victories in the premier class along with multiple podiums, 2021 has been a tough start with only two top ten finishes - both by Brad Binder, across their four rides thus far. The main reason for this has been KTM’s struggle with the new Michelin front tyre introduced this year. The strengths of the RC16 especially in the hands of Binder, has been hard braking and corner entry, but in Qatar, the softer compound took away those strong points of the bike.
