Gresini's condition worsens amid Covid-19 battle

MotoGP team owner Fausto Gresini’s condition has worsened as the Italian continues to fight nearly a month after contracting Covid-19. Gresini’s best chances for survival now rely on him being “almost always” asleep as he continues to struggle to breathe on his own because of the damage inflicted on his lungs by both Covid and a short struggle with pneumonia. The latest statement released by his Gresini Racing MotoGP squad labelled his condition as “still serious” as he remains connected to a mechanical ventilator in order to aid breathing, though said Gresini was still “conscious and combative” when periodically awakened. #GetWellSoonFausto #GresiniFamily #Update...
