Jerez MotoGP test times - Monday (Final)

Following Sunday's Spanish MotoGP, the first official in-season test of the year was held back at the Jerez circuit on Monday. Testing took place between 10am and 6pm. Aleix Espargaro led the timesheets for Suzuki until 1pm. LCR Honda's Cal Crutchlow then briefly moved to the top before Sunday's winner Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha) took control. Team-mate Valentino Rossi moved into a close second in the closing stages, when Lorenzo also improved slightly to set the best lap time of the day. Injured reigning world champion Marc Marquez initially stated he would not test, with Honda later revealing he would do 'a few laps' with a new swing-arm.
