MotoGP confirms cancellation of British and Australian grands prix

MotoGP has confirmed that the 2020 rounds of the British and Australian grands prix will not be rescheduled this year. With the coronavirus pandemic hitting the pause button on all motorsport activities worldwide, it has forced the postponement to the start of the '20 MotoGP season, but with end in sight, the green light has been given to resume racing. However the revised calendar will not be visiting Britain – for the first time in MotoGP's 70-year history – and Australia, with both events being cancelled altogether.
