Silverstone confirms British MotoGP cancelled

Silverstone has officially confirmed the cancellation of the 2020 British MotoGP. Circuit Managing Director, Stuart Pringle, issued the following statement to ticket holders explaining that 'logistical restrictions under the current [coronavirus] situation, combined with a shortened and rearranged MotoGP calendar' mean the British round has now joined Sachsenring, Assen and Kymiring in withdrawing from the 2020 event line-up. The news was expected, with Suzuki team manager Davide Brivio recently lamenting "we're not going to race in Silverstone where we won twice in the last four years."...
