Honda expects Marquez, Pedrosa to race at Jerez
Honda MotoGP team manager Livio Suppo is expecting both Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa to be fit to race in this weekend's event at Jerez. World champion Marquez appeared in doubt for his home race after he broke a finger in a dirt bike crash over the weekend. Marquez underwent surgery in Barcelona and a titanium plate has been inserted in the broken finger. But Suppo says the Spanish rider has assured him he will be racing at Jerez. "He told me he is sure he will race and not to worry," Suppo told Gazzetta dello Sport. "We have to be positive.
