Marc Marquez: 'Clever' Aragon strategy worked perfectly

Marc Marquez reckons his ‘clever’ strategy to win the Aragon MotoGP contest was key as he ultimately went on to secure victory in his 200th Grand Prix. The Spaniard took pole in qualifying yesterday and was expected to run away in the 22 lap race due to the blistering pace the Honda man has displayed throughout the weekend. He set a time 1.7 seconds faster than anyone in FP1 on Friday morning, and despite only managing the fourth quickest time in FP2 after focussing on race runs he still looked likely to be the pacesetter through the rest of weekend.
