Honda's Jorge Lorenzo ruled out of Dutch TT following FP1 crash

Jorge Lorenzo will take no further part in the Dutch TT weekend held at Assen due to a likely concussion sustained in FP1 on Friday morning. Lorenzo suffered a high speed crash at Turn 7 towards the end of the 45 minute session, banging his head on the tarmac as he landed. He was then forced to head to the local hospital at Assen for a series of medical checks to establish whether he would be able to take any further part in the weekend.  It was confirmed in the early stages of FP2 though that the Mallorcan would have to forego any further running during the weekend, and although not confirmed is most likely due to a concussion.  The injury could also put Lorenzo's...
