Revised MotoE calendar launched
A revised six-round MotoE World Cup schedule has been launched, with the season now starting at the Sachsenring in July after a huge fire destroyed all 18 bikes. A devastating fire destroyed the entire MotoE paddock during its first pre-season test at Jerez two weeks ago, forcing the original scheduled season-opener at the Spanish Grand Prix to be cancelled. Despite the large scale damage caused by the fire, Dorna Sports vowed to still hold the all-electric series in 2019. The season will now begin in the first week of July at the Sachsenring, with the second round now taking place during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend at the Red Bull Ring.
