Jorge Lorenzo suffered broken rib in Qatar crash

Jorge Lorenzo has revealed he has suffered a broken right rib, which is a legacy of his heavy FP3 crash during the MotoGP Qatar Grand Prix weekend. Lorenzo was flicked from his Honda in the opening stages of Saturday's third practice at Losail at Turn 6, and was taken to the medical centre for checks before being passed fit to continue.  He ended his Honda debut 13th, as pain in his shoulder from his FP3 crash and an early clutch issue hindered his progress.  Lorenzo admitted he would undergo further checks on his shoulder this week, though revealed in a brief Twitter post he had in fact suffered a broken rib on his right side.  He has been issued a recovery time of at...
