Just before track action gets underway in 2019 at Losail International Circuit, MotoGP bosses have confirmed test dates and details for this season and beyond. An official tesy on the 28th and 29th August is now confirmed as taking place at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. There is a possibility for a test to take place at the Kymiring in Finland for MotoGP class manufacturers’ test teams, with dates to be confirmed. It had been scheduled for just after the British Grand Prix at Silverstone but that is now to be held at Misano, so doubts have been cast over whether it will be ready in time for the 2020 season.
