MotoGP Qatar: Title contenders pushing for 7pm race
MotoGP title contenders Marc Marquez, Andrea Dovizioso, Valentino Rossi and Maverick Vinales have all joined Jorge Lorenzo’s crusade to bring Sunday’s race start time forward by an hour on safety grounds. Lorenzo has been pushing MotoGP bosses for a seven o’clock start as there will be less chance of dew-point on the track which saw myriad crashes on the final day of testing a week or so ago. So far, the appeals have fallen on deaf ears but there is a safety commission meeting tomorrow evening.
