Jerez Moto2 test: Lowes ends second overall

Britain's Sam Lowes ended the Jerez Moto2 test in second place overall, trailing Luca Marini by a quarter of a second on the combined timesheet. Rain on day three meant yesterday's times were the benchmark and Lowes put in a 1'41.792 compared to Marini's 1'41.524. Alex Marquez was third, Remy Gardner fourth and Lorenzo Baldassarri fifth. 'It’s been a real positive test because we could work on many things. The first, of course, was to get used to the new engine and the new bike,' said Lowes.
