MotoGP veteran Bradley Smith moves into MotoE for 2019

MotoGP veteran Bradley Smith is to move into the new-for-2019 MotoE support category. Smith, 27, has competed in MotoGP since 2013 and scored two podium finishes with Tech 3 Yamaha before switching to KTM for 2017. But he will be replaced by Johann Zarco for 2019 and recently confirmed that he will take up a test rider role at Aprilia, having been unable to find a seat elsewhere. On Monday it was confirmed that Smith will combine his Aprilia test role with a race seat in the MotoE category for SIC Racing Team, which will compete under the One Energy Racing banner. “This is a completely new chapter in the motorcycling world and I am very excited to be a part of MotoE,” he said....
