MotoGP Motegi: I couldn’t push like in Thailand – Vinales
Maverick Vinales admitted that he couldn’t push his factory Yamaha MotoGP machine like he could in Buriram as he qualified down on the third row of the grid. Vinales enjoyed a productive Friday and said that he thinks the changes Yamaha made in Thailand were here for good and not a one off, however, after a less than productive qualifying session which was him only manage seventh place and over half a second off the pole time, the Spaniard admitted he couldn’t turn as he wanted and just kept running wide. “In Buriram I could stop much more in the beginning of the braking, which meant I could enter faster in the corner with more banking,” said the 23-year-old who finished on the...
