MotoGP Motegi: Late changes help Miller fly to front row despite crash

Pramac Ducati’s Jack Miller said that late changes to his Desmosedici made during Q1 were key to him securing his third MotoGP front row start of the season in Motegi. Miller was having trouble keeping the rear end of his Ducati down in the heavy braking zones all weekend, however Miller said that his Pramac team found something during Q1 which saw him benefit once Q2 began, as he qualified in third position, just 0.182 seconds behind pole sitter Andrea Dovizioso. “Yesterday and this morning we still didn’t find the solution [to keep the rear down] until FP4, in between FP4 and during Q1 we pulled the bike apart and changed a few other things and really found a good setting for the...
