MotoGP Buriram: Bezzecchi takes pole as Martin struggles

Marco Bezzecchi stormed to his second ever pole position to keep himself firmly in the title race, as Moto3 World Championship leader Jorge Martin struggled with his left wrist. After feeling his way into the session, Bezzecchi waited until the final lap of the session to snatch a maiden pole position away from the surprise package of Kazuki Masaki. Despite not getting a slip stream down to the second corner, Bezzecchi had the pace and found himself over three tenths up at the half way point. Despite then catching some traffic, Bezzecchi still managed to do a 1:42.235 which was nearly half a second clear of the field.
