Andrea Dovizioso topped MotoGP FP3 in Thailand, while Marc Marquez will face Q1 for the second time this season after a late crash. Dovizioso took over top spot in the closing moments on his Ducati, while a crash at Turn 4 on his final flying lap and a late improvement from Alvaro Bautista dropped Marquez to 11th. Marquez set the early pace with a 1:31.297s on his Honda, while Suzuki's Alex Rins was the first improver on the combined standings in seventh, which put him just 0.035s outside of Marquez's lap on the individual times.
