MotoGP Aragon: Brilliant Marquez wins at home in Aragon

Marc Marquez’ mini MotoGP win drought ended in emphatic fashion after a brilliant, tactical victory in front of his home fans in Aragon. Starting from the outside of the front row, Marquez got a perfect start and led into the first corner. Marquez came in a little hot and forced pole sitter Jorge Lorenzo slightly wide. Lorenzo tried to carry speed but highsided out of the race, dislocating his big toe in his right foot in the process. With Lorenzo out, Dovizioso took the lead and the race settled into a slow pace, with tyre degradation a key factor in the race.
