MotoGP Aragon: Binder claims maiden Moto2 pole position

Brad Binder left it late to snatch the pole position from the Marcel Schrotter for his maiden Moto2 pole position at Aragon. Schrotter led the session early and the Moto2 session followed a familiar pattern with the session turning into a practice session during the mid way point. However, in the final moments when things appeared to be all set, the South African rider pulled out a 1:53.149 which was good enough to jump ahead of the German for the pole position. Jorge Navarro will start on the outside of the front row despite having exactly the same time as fourth placed Alex Marquez. Navarro got the front row start due to his next fastest lap being quicker than that of the Marc VDS man....
